NYC lingerie line The Lake and Stars gorgeous S/S09 collection -- now including swimwear! I can't think of many lingerie lines as classy, unique, and modern as The Lake and Stars. On top of that, it is beautifully named which is (aptly) a Victorian euphemism for a woman with skillz in the bedroom; i.e., "she gave me the lake and stars."

Meshy

Mesh is clearly "in" now...and I have secretly loved it for a while, so now I feel I can come out for my love of mesh. These mesh Opening Ceremony wedges are high on my imaginary list of things I love and want.

Also, if anyone watched the Academy Awards AKA the Yawn Awards last night and caught a glimpse of Natalie Portman...WOW...girlfriend brought style and grace in a hot hot hot pink Rodarte gown, perfect hair, and perfect makeup on that gorgeous face--not to sound like one of those annoying "Style Police" talking heads.

Queen of Hearts

Swedish line Minimarket's Alice In Wonderland tea party/storybook inspired Spring collection. I'm not crazy about it. Reminds me of Topshop's summer Harlequin/Wonderland collection. 

The wonderful Malmo based Tres Bien Shop carries a lot of Minimarket--where I got my shiny black Minimarket lace up wedge boots last summer that I can't stop wearing with everything. I want them in beige now too, but I do not have the funds for another pair.

Hothouse Heels

Karla of Karla's Closet posted these heels from Basso & Brooke's S/S 09 over a week ago and I just had to repost them because they are some of the most gorgeous footwear I've seen to date. Don't you agree?
